Hybrid working pattern with 2-3 days from home or 2-3 days from the office in Coventry.
**Role Description**:
The Resolute Group are working in partnership with a growing Utilities consultancy that has hit £10m t/o and over 100 employees with continued growth across 2023.
This is an exciting new role to head of the bidding function within the organisation. Looking to free up the leadership team and Programme managers, allowing them the time to deliver the projects. Leaving the Bidding team to focus on creating and deliveringsuccessful bids and tenders.
Reporting into the MD, this role is new to the business as such the successful person will be able to mould and develop this team. Using your experience of working with key stakeholders you will be creating the right processes and systems that allow fora successful bid to be created. The bidding team will focus on the initial enquiry be it Portal, Framework or client enquiry. Completing the PQQ or expression of interest through to creating the presentations / Bid documents and controlling the bid process.
Having that ownership of the bidding process is key, bring in the right stakeholders to support the bid. From industry experts within the business, working with the Programme manager who would be delivering the successful project. Having clear communicationis vital as bids / tenders run to strict deadlines, these need to be communicated to the other stakeholders who also have their own role to carry out on a daily basis.
You don't need any Utilities experience for this position as it's the knowledge and experience of being a senior figure within a bid/tender team we are looking for. Understanding how to win over stakeholders, put together a successful tender and equallytake the feedback from unsuccessful bids/ tenders for lessons learned. Ultimately this is a new division that the business needs to succeed to allow for future growth.
This would be perfect for someone that has worked in the following sectors so you have an appreciation of the types of bids/tenders you might receive.

**Required Experience**
- Bid experience - Been a Senior member of a bid team before (Managed bid advisors or coordinators and managed internal stakeholders when creating a bid)
- A Formal qualification but it Apprenticeship / ONC / HNC / HND or Degree
