At Community Lives, we provide support, and guidance for our learning disabled adults to develop their life skills and lead independent lives.

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to support our clients to undertake activities within the community in order to develop personal potential and promote social inclusion.

This involves enabling them to take part in community activities, whilst ensuring that their individual choices and needs are met, and, most importantly, to help them have fun.

The service provides day, evening and weekend support to enable our clients to access local social groups, and community facilities. As well, we offer 1:1 and group support for exciting days out such as the seaside, theme parks, zoos and much more.

You will need to be a confident communicator, with the ability to take initiative and provide a fun experience for our clients. You will need to be a team player with a great sense of responsibility, with a calm and positive attitude, as well as the ability to lone work as required.

Previous experience or transferrable skills is preferred, and you will need a full UK drivers licence (D1 not required) to drive our vehicles and to meet insurance requirements.

The role involves working a shift pattern including some weekend working, with opportunities for overtime. Night working/sleep-ins are not required for this role.
