Job Title: Outreach Worker

Apricus Resourcing Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Outreach Worker to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to individuals struggling with substance misuse.

In this pivotal position, you will be instrumental in fostering positive change and empowering individuals on their journey to recovery. Your commitment to delivering high-quality support services will be essential in helping our clients achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate and update care plans to ensure effective support and guidance for service users.
  • Work collaboratively with service users to develop tailored recovery plans, taking into account their unique needs and circumstances.
  • Provide one-to-one support and facilitate group work sessions to empower individuals on their journey to recovery.
  • Engage effectively with service users, using your strong communication skills to build trust and rapport.
  • Conduct home visits for clients with limited mobility to complete assessments and keywork.
  • Visit service users in hospital to provide ongoing support, where appropriate.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record in the substance misuse sector.
  • A sound understanding of the challenges faced by those affected by drug and alcohol issues.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with service users.
