Support Horizons is a not-for-profit organisation enabling adults with learning difficulties to live actively in the communities of **Wokingham, Reading and Bracknell.**

**What is a Support Worker**?

As a Support Worker you will be a key member of our team, providing high standards of person-centred support to our service users. Through a creative and caring approach, you will build good relationships with both service users and their families.

You will assist a small number of regular clients on a one to one basis, usually for a few hours at a time, accompanying them out and about including leisure activities, appointments, daily chores and shopping. For these purposes it is essential that you can drive and have your own transport (mileage is paid at 45p per mile).

**Experience is not essential**, providing you have a willingness to learn, the compassion and patience needed to support. We offer full training and opportunities to progress to NVQ Levels, equally we welcome applicants with previous experience and/or health care qualifications.

Where possible we offer flexible **hours, **full or part time positions are available.

**Starting salary from the **equivalent of £21,670 for a full-time role, enhanced pay outside core hours, including weekends and bank holidays.

Applicants must be over 18 with the willingness and ability to travel in line with business requirements.
