Managed Services Contract Specialists operate in a high complexity environment and are typically assigned to client accounts. Incumbents within these jobs demonstrate an understanding of the vendor and services management environment and stakeholder interests.

The primary responsibility of the Managed Services Contract Specialist is to ensure that all services provisioned for a client are captured in the relevant service administration database and maintained throughout the contract lifecycle. They may also be performing client-facing activities along with the account team to ensure NTT fulfil their obligations to the client and ensure a smooth running of the commercial and contract aspects of the agreement.

**Key Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Works with the renewal owner or the client directly to review the client’s commercial needs and work within the company policy and rules to support a commercially favourable renewal quote/proposal
- Will perform client-facing interactions or support renewal owner in aligning the internal commercial considerations with the clients’ needs as part of the on-going delivery.
- Will work with the support renewal owner to ensure the order is onboarded accurately.
- Upon clients’ issuance of renewal order, ensure clients’ orders are validated and processed accurately in the internal systems, in accordance with company order intake policy
- Ensure all commercial documents such as clients purchase orders, vendor quotes, internal commercial documentation are complete and accurate
- Provide a thorough analytical breakdown of client contract structures
- Conduct risk assessment and exposure management, calling out areas of concerns
- Partner with Legal to perform contract reviews and assessments

**Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes**:

- Ability to work with a variety of internal teams both on & offshore to ensure the successful execution of their daily activities
- Displays excellent understanding of the relevant systems and portals
- Ability to work quickly and accurately, whilst being able to balance general administrative duties and excellent client service orientation
- Ability to display an understanding of the business needs and expectations and the ability to consistently deliver a quality service through offering the required support
- Reliable with the ability to produce a high quality of work
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage work processes and display strong orientation towards ensuring client satisfaction and service delivery
- Ability to plan well and organize their daily work activities
- Ability to build solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Should be at least an intermediate on MS Productivity tools like Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business needs
- Knowledge of vendor pricing & commercial modelling for Managed Services contracts
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good negotiations and problem-solving skills
- Effective reporting and presentation skills
- Excellent commercial acumen
- High level of drive and ability to work under pressure
- Understanding of global commerce and business capabilities and policies for global deals
- Ability to build and maintain cross-functional relationships with a variety of stakeholders
- Maintains extensive knowledge of product and service offerings, including new offerings

**Academic Qualifications and Certifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Commercial or equivalent (Finance graduates would be preferred)
- Completion or working towards completion of an ITIL certification is preferable

**Required Experience**:

- Demonstrable years of related industry experience
- Demonstrable knowledge on commercial constructs of Managed Services Contracts
- Sound experience working with business intelligence software
- Demonstrated relevant experience in similar role within a related environment
- Experience of pricing as a consultant or practitioner with a history of developing and implementing innovative pricing solutions
- Demonstrated experience in commercial modelling using MS Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
