We are seeking an experienced Head of Campaign Marketing with a passion for events, who thrives both in a team setting and when working independently. From day one, you'll be tasked with both leading and developing your team and taking charge of your campaign strategies and execution. You will work closely with the digital marketing and analytics departments to test and roll out innovative strategies and best practices, all while thriving in a dynamic and supportive environment. As you come aboard, your involvement will be key to the expansion and quickening pace of numerous major events within our brand portfolio.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Meticulously plan and execute a range of compelling, customer-focused, annual marketing campaigns that are data-led, in collaboration with the Director of Marketing and the Director of Analytics.
- Take responsibility for attendee acquisition via bespoke marketing campaigns using a variety of channels.
- Define, measure, and analyse the success of all campaign activity, owning KPIs and reporting.
- Ensure the delivery of campaigns, providing accurate forecasts and ensuring a return on marketing spend.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to complete a full data audit and gap analysis, shaping the data acquisition strategy for each campaign.
- Define database selections to target segmented audiences with relevant messages, ensuring analysis of real-time engagement and effectiveness across all channels.
- Write copy and proofread promotional activities, adapting the correct tone of voice to suit the relevant persona.
- Collaborate with the sales team to create campaigns that meet their commercial objectives and KPIs, ensuring that conversion rates from MQLs to SQLs are managed and maintained.
- Build, coach, and manage a high-performing marketing team of four to ensure their optimum output.

**We are looking for someone with**:

- 5+ years’ experience of running successful marketing campaigns and managing a team of marketers.
- Strong people management skills with the ability to motivate, train, and coach the team.
- A proven track record of implementing successful segmented promotional campaigns that drive growth.
- Highly proactive, with the energy and tenacity to accomplish objectives and goals promptly.
- Highly analytical and inquisitive, capable of interpreting data and converting it into actionable insight.
- Working knowledge of current marketing technologies to maximize effectiveness in lead generation and customer service.
- Proven use and understanding of complex databases and segmentation techniques.
- Ability to collaborate with sales teams to increase lead generation and maximize sales opportunities.
- Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM platforms, such as Hubspot, is desirable.
- General knowledge of all GDPR laws, including preference centers and privacy policies.
- Outcome-oriented, with a clear track record of measurable successes.
- Strong capabilities in influencing and negotiation

**More about the role**:

- _Salary_: £45,000 - £50.000 per annum (dependent on skills & experience), plus commission
- _Location_: All our roles are hybrid (a mix of remote and in office). Our offices are located on the Botley Road in Oxford, with shops/restaurants within walking distance and easy access into Oxford City Centre.
- _Job Type_: Full Time (37.5 hours per week)
