As the Head of Performance Marketing, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing all lead generation activities, with a primary focus on Google AdWords. Your expertise in SEM digital marketing, particularly within the education, travel, or luxury goods sectors, will be critical in achieving our business objectives. You will report directly to the Sales and Marketing Director and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful marketing strategies.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Key duties will include:

- **Google AdWords**
- Campaign Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive Google AdWords strategies, including keyword research, ad copy creation, and bid management, to drive targeted and high quality traffic.
- Performance Max Integration: Leverage hands-on skills in Performance Max to maximize reach and conversions across various ad formats, ensuring optimal campaign performance.
- Display, Discovery and Retargeting Mastery: Manage and optimize Display, Discovery, and Retargeting campaigns, ensuring a holistic and integrated approach to online advertising.
- **Paid Social Media Advertising**:

- Work with an existing external agency to maximize leads and enrolments across various social media platforms.
- Manage budgets and analyse results providing feedback to the Sales and Marketing Director
- **Other digital lead generation opportunities**:

- Research and review alternative lead generation tactics to build on the current digital strategy.
- **Website Performance and Optimisation**:

- Optimise website performance, user experience (UX), Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), and the use of landing pages to enhance overall digital marketing effectiveness.
- **Data-Driven Analysis**:

- Utilise data-driven methodology, analysis and measurement to improve effectiveness and efficiency across all marketing channels.
- Leverage marketing attribution platforms to analyse and understand the contribution of each marketing channel, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
- **Cost Management**:

- Manage budgets and cost per acquisition targets effectively, optimising budgets to ensure maximum ROI for all marketing initiatives.
- **Reporting and Communication**:

- Provide regular and comprehensive marketing analysis reports to the Sales and Marketing Director, offering insights that contribute to strategic decision-making.

This post may also be required to support other areas of work within the marketing team as directed by the Sales and Marketing Director.

**Person Specification**:
**Essential Qualifications/Experience**:

- Current and deep hands-on skills with all areas of Google Paid Advertising platforms including Google AdWords, Performance Max, Display, Discovery and Retargeting
- Extensive experience of running Paid Social Media advertising campaigns
- Good knowledge of website performance, UX, and CRO
- Experience in building high performing landing pages and of A/B testing to optimise performance
- Data driven and analytical, especially in assessing campaign performance, identifying consumer behaviour, creative opportunities and managing cost per acquisition targets
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Familiarity with marketing attribution platforms and a good understanding of CRM systems.
- Ability to work both independently and co-operatively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong writing and communication skills, with an eye for detail.

**Position Details**:

- Full time permanent role, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday (09:00-17:30)
- Based at our Oxford office (OX4), with some hybrid working
- 32 days' holiday (pro rata) per year (inclusive of public and bank holidays)
- Reports to the Sales and Marketing Directorinistrative tasks in advance of and on transfer days by a nominated assistant drawn from our wider customer service team
