Finance & Admin Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity to come and join our team here, delivering an industry leading experience both on and off the golf course.

This is a new position within the Club and you will be part of a small office team, reporting directly to the Finance Manager.

Key Tasks:

- Maintenance of the sales ledger. Timely and accurate transactional input into the accounting system (Sage Accounts 50) including:

- Bar/Catering sales, Green fees and Subscriptions.
- Invoicing external customers.
- Processing payments via member accounts.
- Processing payments received into Sage and updating the green fee booking and membership system.
- Setting up, maintenance and processing of the direct debit scheme for subscriptions.
- Maintenance of the purchase ledger:

- Setting up supplier accounts, matching Purchase Order’s with delivery notes and invoices, inputting of invoices into the accounting system.
- Reconciling supplier accounts to statements and supplier payments.
- Monthly payroll administration:

- Processing of hours worked, keeping up to date sickness and holiday records etc.
- Support in the preparation and production of the monthly management accounts and stocktaking reports.
- Support in the preparation for the year end audit and production of the
Financial Statement.
- General administrative and clerical support including:

- Maintaining membership records
- Aid and assist Members with any queries
- Administrative assistance to the Captain and committees
- Administration assistance with Member and Open golfing competitions

**Skills**:

- Strong numerical and analytic skills
- Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Competent Sage 50 Accounts user
- Microsoft Office User (Office 365, Word and Excel in particular)
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills

**Experience**:

- 2 years bookkeeping (preferred)
- Sage Accounts 50 (preferred)
- 2 Years Payroll (preferred)

Renumeration:
