**Our Opportunity**

We have a great opportunity for a Configuration Management Administration to join Thales Under Water Systems (UWS) who provide underwater systems across a wide range of products and systems for submarines, surface vessels, mine-countermeasures vessels, unmanned vehicles and aircraft.

You will be responsible for the registration and release of data managed in configuration. As well as being responsible for verifying the integrity, validity and maintenance of records relating to the data, including traceability and history over the entire life cycle. You will also take charge the verification of technical and non-technical data (whether internally and externally).

As well as this, you will ensure the provision of up-to-date data to the relevant functions and record configuration baselines and provide status on identified gaps or omissions. You will also translate the decisions of the Configuration Manager into the tool as required. Additionally, you will become a configuration management tool (PLM) expert and provide support to the project/product team to archive obsolete data.

**About You**
- You will ideally have a degree in an engineering discipline as well as having knowledge of PLM toolsets for example Windchill/Teamcenter.
- You are able to understand configuration management processes and tools through the prism of contractual requirements and stakeholders’ needs
- You foster continuous improvement and encourage a culture of feedback
- You are able to multi-task and prioritise without requiring regular direct supervision
- You will be someone who is process driven, analytical and detail oriented.
- You are a communicator and a team player: you are willing to help and establish strong relationships with the rest of the team
- You have the ability to establish and meet deadlines
- You understand the importance of data integrity
