**Office Assistant**

This role is for an office assistant to help with the general running of the business. The role is Friday to Monday and will initially be 20-30 hours per week. This is a permanent position working at from our new shop in Portslade. Pay starts at £10 per hour with reviews every 6 months. Looking for someone who can start asap.

**Responsibilities**

**General admin and business management**

**Customer service + Communication**
- General communication with clients
- Contacting staff and arranging schedule changes and dealing with day to day issues.

**Scheduling**
- Schedule workload using online scheduling system
- Assigning regular jobs
- Managing clashes and staff availability

**Recruitment**
- Filtering of applicants of cleaning positions
- Communication with potential applicants and arranging interviews

**Projects**
- Potential for one off or temporary projects to run alongside basic duties.

This is the role as it stands. We are an expanding business and it may be that the hours and responsibilities could increase as we continue to grow. Some flexibility will be required with this.
- Excellent telephone manner and fluent in English language
- Very good IT skills
- Able to work on their own initiative and under direction
- Ability to deal with pressure calmly
- Admin or basic management experience preferable
- Open to increasing hours if needed.
- Excellent organisation
- Critical thinking and analysis

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: From £10.00 per hour
