**We are looking to recruit a Lifestyle & Wellbeing Co-ordinator for our newly opening care home in Westcliff-on-Sea.**

The care home has 53 beds and has been fully refurbished to a luxury high standard due to open in May 2024.

**Daily duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to**:
Main responsibilities involve being a supportive and important member of a caring team, participate fully in the delivery of care with quality and standard. A Lifestyle & Wellbeing Co-ordinator must be able to give meaningful activities with reference to key-workers and help support a team as well supporting their Home Manager.
- Planning and delivering meaningful activities whilst being aware of the residents' interests as well as their physical and cognitive abilities
- Encourage active participation in activities
- Ensure there is a variety in the programme of daily events
- Working closely with care staff and family members in getting to know the residents, their interests, their experience and life stories
- Sharing the best practice and encouraging all staff members to take active interest in providing activities for our residents
- Ideally you will have previous experience in organising activities within a care setting however we are open for applicants that have all the key skills and abilities.

**Required Education, Skills and Qualifications**
- Creative with a range of practical skills like arts & crafts
- Able to motivate and engage with people
- Able to create an environment that encourages participation and involvement
- Teamwork is also important as you will work closely with all staff members in sharing the best practice approach.
