Volunteer Services Administrator

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our expanding Volunteer Services team at South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust.
We are looking for an enthusiastic team player who can support volunteers and provide and friendly and welcoming service. You will join an established team, providing general administration support to the service with a particular focus on Leamington Hospital.
You will work collaboratively with colleagues to help ensure agreed processes are followed and recruitment strategies are effective and efficient. You will provide a point of contact for volunteer queries, assist with the recruitment of volunteers and utilise Better Impact, our volunteer management software.
This is an exciting time to join our expanding Volunteer Services team at South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust. Appointees will join an established team, providing administration support to colleagues across the organisation with a particular focus on Leamington Hospital.
Appointees to this role will work alongside Volunteer Services colleagues to provide general administrative support to the service.
The post holder will work collaboratively with colleagues in the department to help ensure agreed processes are followed and recruitment strategies are effective and efficient.

Under the direction of the Volunteer Services Manager and Volunteer Coordinator provide a point of contact for volunteer queries, directing to the appropriate colleague as necessary.
Provide accurate and effective clerical support to the Team as required, including using Better Impact to set up volunteer shifts and monitor the recording of volunteer hours.
Work alongside the Volunteer Services team to support the recruitment process, undertaking associated administrative tasks as required.
To work in conjunction with the Volunteer Services team to ensure administrative processes are kept up to date and efficient.
To support the Volunteer Services team in the smooth running of administrative activities within the department. To help ensure that all information is accurately and precisely recorded and subsequently easily accessible.
Update systems as necessary to support the Volunteer Services Team. This includes maintaining and updating the team’s intranet pages and newsletters.
To assist with the set-up, organisation and delivery of inductions, and other events for volunteers.
To monitor and maintain the contents of shared folders, databases and project details for the Volunteer Services team.
To assist in the production and distribution of written communications, social media, as well as maintaining and responding to the team inbox in a timely manner.
Ensure information recorded on Better Impact is kept up to date and accurate to adhere to monthly consistency checks.
To carry out any other commensurate duties associated with this role and/or as requested by Volunteer Services.
