**Role**:Accounts Administrator - Sales Ledger

**Location**: Preston, PR1

**Hours**: Full time Mon - Fri, 42.75 hours per week

**Salary**: £24,230.70 per annam

**The opportunity**

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Administrator to join our established brokerage team, based at our Head Office facility in Preston. Reporting to the Sales Ledger Supervisor, your role will be to raise client invoices, ensuring daily team targets are met. You will also assist with responding to client queries in a timely and professional manner.

Recycling Lives Services provide services for WEEE, Batteries and Packaging compliance as well as total waste management services. We provide UK wide coverage and by working closely with Recycling Lives Charity we deliver positive outcomes for people and planet in all we do. We deliver services that change lives.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Client queries: Assisting clients with any queries they have on their invoices ensuring the query is investigated thoroughly and a resolution is agreed.
- B2B portals: Submitting invoices onto clients requested portals.
- Paperwork & Compliance: Making sure that all paperwork uploaded onto our systems is correct and compliant. The paperwork should be checked before the invoices are raised to the clients.
- Client reports: Creating reports of all jobs created and their corresponding invoices, working through any jobs that do not have an invoice and investigating this.
- Uploading paperwork: Make sure that all the jobs on the system have the correct paperwork uploaded.
- Approval of supplier invoices: Upload supplier invoices to the system and ensure that all invoices are released for payment before their due date. Try to deal with the queries at the time the problem arises.

**Person specification**:

- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office applicants, especially Excel
