We're searching for a brilliant People Team Administrator for a 6 month fixed-term contract. You'll be the first line of administration support to our friendly and busy People Team within the UK and our international HR teams.

This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office in Cambridge and some travel to our manufacturing facility in Ely. This is a critical role, ensuring the smooth running of the People Team function.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintaining and managing all employment records and relevant HIRS systems and personnel files.
- Responsible for all on/off boarding activities, including right to work checks, preparing employment contracts, reference requests and all other relevant correspondence with starters and leavers.
- Carrying out inductions for new starters both in the UK and online with international starters.
- Entering all relevant data into the People Team HIRS platform (PeopleHR).
- Assist and collaborate with Payroll and IT for relevant queries and information needed for new starters and leavers on a monthly basis and as required.
- Supporting the Recruitment team with arranging interviews (over Teams and face to face) and managing relevant offer paperwork.
- Raising and processing purchase orders and invoices in line with the Accounts team.
- Managing DBS checks for those employees requiring security checks and security access cards.
- Provide additional support to the People Team when required in adhoc requests or project work.
- Ensure all personal files are kept updated and relevant to comply with data protection.

This is not an exhaustive list, we'll need you to turn your hand to anything within the People Team remit that helps the team deliver its objectives.

**About you**:
To be successful in this role you'll need to have/be:

- A good understanding of MS Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and One Drive
- Previous experience or use of using HRIS and ATS systems an advantage.
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal and with the ability to build strong professional relationships.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Relevant educational qualifications for English and Mathematics.
- Previous administration experience required.
