Applications are invited for the position of Business Engagement and Research Officer.

As the primary contact and referral point for first stage enquiries, you will deliver a comprehensive, and progressive service which supports business growth through the medium of research and knowledge exchange. You will also be responsible for the development and delivery of a suite of workshops designed to support clients on their innovation journey.

This role would suit someone who understands business innovation, has a passion for knowledge, an enquiring disposition and the ability to investigate, accurately capture and impart meaningful knowledge to the businesses we work with.

A great team player, you will need to be able to converse on all levels and be able to work accurately to deadlines. You will be working closely with team colleagues, businesses and academics so excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to express complex matters with clarity is necessary.

This is a full-time post, based from the Pool Innovation Centre working 37 hours per week. The post is fixed term until 31st March 2025 due to funding and benefits from 25 days holiday per annum plus bank holidays.

There is an essential requirement within this role that you will be required to travel to and work at different University sites and/or other business locations that may not be easily accessible by public transport. Please refer to the job description for further information.
