**Have an opening for a Production Administator**

**Times of work 0830am to 1700pm Monday to Friday.**

Production Administrator will report to The Production Management Group and will also have “dotted line” responsibility to the Head of Production

**1.** **Qualification**

No formal qualification is required, as skills required can be learned in-house, although the job is PC biased so a complete understanding of Microsoft packages is advantageous.

**2.** **Skills and tasks**

To qualify for the position, an employee will competently carry out the following tasks:

- Closing off work orders in Dynamics D365.
- Scan and file Job Packages once the job in complete in the online filing system the keep the Company EN1090 compliant.
- Chase incomplete paperwork in job packets with shopfloor employee’s

Production Admin may from time to time be expected to learn new skills in order to keep pace with the evolution of new technology and/or new machinery within the business. This does not necessarily mean that the employee has attained a new grade or rate of pay.

**3.** **Qualities**

The employee will:

- Work unsupervised.
- Be an excellent team leader/player.
- Excellent communication and people skills are essential.
- Be willing to undergo internal or external training, as directed.
- Work in a safe and tidy manner.

**4.** **Flexibility**

Production Admin will be asked to conduct other tasks to meet the needs of the business. For example, an individual may be asked to assist in training and induction of new employees, problem solving in other areas of the business, assist the manufacturing team, operate materials handling equipment, etc. Such requests will be regarded as reasonable, and individuals will be expected to adopt a flexible attitude.

**Continuous Improvement**
- To use all available lean tools and practises to improve cell input and output.
- To actively participate in continuous improvement programs.

**General**
- Read, understand, and strive towards the company’s mission statement.
- Actively pursue and achieve company objectives / targets.
- Ensure compliance with the company’s health & safety procedures / policies.
