**JOB TITLE**:Customer Contact Assistant

**LOCATION**: Horncastle and Boston

**SALARY**:£23,150 per annum

PSPS are recruiting Customer Contact Assistants to join our well-established team, supporting over 400,000 enquiries a year, based at our offices in Horncastle.

We are looking for quick thinking, solution focused individuals, who work with one team approach to improve standards and service. Our recruitment package enables Assistants to join our 6-month programme of exclusive training and mentoring, with ongoing development and support.

**What you’ll need, to do the role**
- Working in a busy Contact Centre environment, you will be able to communicate effectively by telephone, in writing and face-to-face.
- You will hold a high level of experience in dealing with challenging customers and have a high understanding of customer care.
- Be flexible and adaptable to service requirements and change.
- High accuracy when following processes.
- Work constructively with others and use own initiative.
- You will have a Grade C (4) or above in English and be competent in using Microsoft Office packages.
- Be confident to actively promote all self
- serve and digital contact channels and assist with a variety of admin tasks.
- Have had previous experience in working in a customer focused environment.
- Be able to travel independently, as visits to other sites will be required for training and collaboration.

PSPS (Public Sector Partnership Services) is a Local Authority Trading Company (LATCo) which is wholly owned by East Lindsey District Council, South Holland District Council and Boston Borough Council. The Company operates from its offices in Spalding, Boston, and Horncastle. The Company provides a range of services including Human Resources & Payroll, Financial Services, Procurement & Contracts, ICT (Information and Communications Technology) & Digital, Customer Contact, Revenues & Benefits, Health & Safety, and a range of Corporate Support services.

The Company primarily delivers these services to its three client Councils, in support of the South & East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership (S&ELCP), across the Company itself and externally to a resident population of approximately 305,000 across the geographical boundaries of South Holland, East Lindsey and Boston.
