**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Deliver Training Courses**: Conduct SIA-approved Level 2 and Level 3 physical intervention training courses, ensuring all training materials and methods are up-to-date and effective.
- **Assessment**: Deliver and assess the Level 3 Award for the delivery of physical intervention training, ensuring learners meet the required competencies and standards.
- **Course Preparation**: Develop, update, and maintain training materials, lesson plans, and resources to ensure they are current and comply with SIA regulations.
- **Compliance**: Ensure all training activities comply with SIA standards and other relevant regulatory requirements.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and certifications.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Stay informed about industry developments and SIA regulations to continually improve the quality and relevance of training.
- **Mentorship**: Provide guidance and support to other trainers, helping them develop their skills and knowledge in physical intervention training.
- **Quality Assurance**: Participate in internal quality assurance processes to ensure training delivery and assessments are consistent and of high quality.
- **Health and Safety**: Ensure a safe and conducive learning environment for all participants during training sessions.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- **Physical Intervention Licence**: Must hold a valid physical intervention licence enabling the delivery of Level 2 and Level 3 physical intervention training.
- **SIA Licenses**: Must hold current and valid SIA licenses relevant to the role.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 2 years of experience in delivering physical intervention training, with hands-on experience in conducting assessments.
- **Teaching Qualification**: PTLLS (Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector) or equivalent teaching/training qualification.
- **Knowledge**: In-depth knowledge of SIA regulations, physical intervention techniques, and best practices.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver engaging and informative training sessions.
- **Interpersonal Skills**: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with learners and provide effective support.
- **Organisational Skills**: Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple training courses and responsibilities effectively.
- **IT Skills**: Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software for training purposes.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in developing training materials and lesson plans.
- Experience in conducting online or virtual training sessions.
- Additional certifications in related security disciplines.

**Work Environment**:

- Training sessions may be conducted in various settings, including classrooms, training centers, and practical environments.
- Occasional travel may be required to deliver training at different locations.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Freelance

Pay: £150.00-£200.00 per day
