We are seeking an experienced and passionate Physics Tutor to join our team and will support students at Ucademy in achieving the very top grades. We are looking for tutors who can support us in this goal and have experience getting students to the highest levels of academic attainment. As a Physics Tutor, you will provide personalised instruction and guidance to students, helping them develop strong language and literary skills.
**You will**:
- Teach across the age and ability
- Contribute more widely to Ucademy through, for example, enrichment activities, administering internal examinations, interventions to support individuals or groups of pupils or outreach activities
- Seek to develop your own professional practice and development in conjunction with the Director of studies
- Follow Ucademy's benchmarking processes
- Be committed to the safeguarding of all young people
- Tutor a group of students taking an interest in their academic progress and well-being
- Tutor predominantly on weekends and evenings
**Requirements**:
- Must have experience teaching GCSE & Alevel Physics to an A* star standard.
- Must have an outstanding record of academic achievement [Achieved A/A*]
- Strong interest in and passion for coaching or mentoring others
- DBS certification will be required before commencing employment
- Previous experience teaching GCSE/A-level Physics
- Subject to completion of 4 week probationary period
