We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, hardworking individual to join our attendance team. The Apprentice Attendance Clerk will be expected to work alongside our existing attendance team and complete a Business Administration Apprenticeship as part of their commitment to this role.

**Apprenticeship summary**

Annual wage
- £930,708 a year

Term time only - £5.50 per hour - 16 - 18 years of age (and over 19 years of age in first year) £10,582 FTE, TTO only, 37 hours (£9,307.08 actual) (Over 19 years of age rises to minimum wage after successful completion of first year)

Working week
- Monday - Friday 8:00am till 4:00pm

Total hours per week: 37 hours a week

15 Months

**What will the apprentice be doing?**
- To assist with the implementation of the Academy’s attendance procedures
- To assist with the maintaining of accurate attendance records, inputting data onto the Academy’s data systems as required
- Attend meetings with the Attendance Officer
- Minute attendance meetings with Parent(s)/Carer(s) when attendance level of student is seen to be a concern. Update minutes and target spreadsheet with attendance figures.
- Liaise regularly with academy staff and professionals from other bodies over students with specific attendance issues
- Complete regular register checks
- Enter data onto the attendance tracker
- Attend appropriate training and supervision
- Be willing to undertake first aid training in order to administer emergency or medical treatment to students, staff and facility users if required
- To always ensure confidentiality when dealing with issues regarding anything that relates to staff, students, parents, or the Academy.
