**Social Media Coordinator - Trainee**
Alfresco Concepts is looking for a passionate and talented Trainee Social Media Coordinator, working across all the social media channels for the Big Green Egg, Alfa and Solidteknics brands.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for driving performance and engagement across all social channels.

The company is very much looking for an individual to come in, take the reins and be able to quickly make their mark. There will be travel required to attend filming shoots and events, as well as work with chefs and influencers.

This role will suit an ambitious person who loves all things social and has a passion for the food industry.

This is a full time job, mainly at the office in Alresford or at shoot locations. Owning a car is essential for this role.

**Responsibilities**

**Strategy and content creation**

Under the guidance of the Marketing Manager, develop a social media strategy and set goals to increase brand awareness, engagement and conversion rate.
Populate the Marketing Calendar with social media content that supports existing activities and campaigns and falls in line with the overall business strategy and aims.
Develop social media only initiatives to increase community engagement.
Look into how existing content can be used across social media.
Work with influencers, partners, Associate Resellers, Regular Contributors and Dealers to create new engaging content.
Attend Alfresco shoots or key events to gather further content.

**Social media & community management**

Work across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube and other social channels.
Ensure that Tone of Voice and brand messaging is adhered to at all times.
Monitor all social media channels throughout the week (including evening and weekends, when the majority of our customers are using their products)
Respond to enquiries promptly - resolving issues directly where possible or forwarding onto relevant departments where needed.
Interact with user-generated content that relates to Alfresco Concepts by liking, commenting and reposting whenever possible.
Interact occasionally with content posted by 'friends of Alfresco' that doesn't directly relate to Alfresco Concepts by liking and commenting where relevant.
Post content on a regular basis (grid posts, Reels, Stories etc), ensuring a balance of messaging and imagery.

**Reporting**

Monitor and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Facebook Ad Manager and Google Analytics
Keep on top of changes to social media algorithms and recommend tweaks to the strategy where needed.
Provide accurate analysis to management to demonstrate return on investment.
Recommend new online media opportunities that may benefit the business growth.

**Requirements**:
Passion for social media and a strong understanding of social media platforms.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Basic knowledge of social media analytics and content scheduling tools is a plus.
Creative mindset with an eye for design and aesthetics.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Strong organisational and time-management skills
A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
Passion for food and barbecuing.
