Purchasing Administrator

**REED Procurement & SC** are partnered with a rapidly expanding online retailer seeking a skilled **Purchasing Administrator** to join the Supply Chain Team at their **Basildon Head Office**. This role is half purchasing, half supply chain, and will support our Head of Supply Chain in various administrative duties.
**Responsibilities**:
- Monitoring and chasing internal and external purchasing progress
- Maintaining procurement business information systems
- Managing the shared department inbox and prioritizing requests
- Recording goods received and progressing outstanding orders
- Arranging shipments and managing weekly stock adjustments
- Generating weekly and monthly stock reports and SKU management
- Dealing with 3PL queries and requests and analyzing data in ongoing investigations and projects
- Reconciling purchase orders and credit notes
- Responding to internal customer and supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations
- Product data entry and ad-hoc administrative tasks
**Key Skills**:
- 1 to 2 years of purchasing activities
- High level working knowledge of Microsoft excel including Pivot tables, vlookup, sumifs etc.
- Extremely IT Literate
- Analytical and organised
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Self-Starter, highly motivated, able to work under pressure and under mínimal supervision
- Ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a calm manner
**Desirable Skills**:
- Experience of Sage (or similar business systems)
- Working within the Aesthetics industry (not essential)
- Capture, Analysis and Presentation of supplier performance data
