As we embark on a period of maternity leave coverage, we are seeking a proficient Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Match, process, and post supplier invoices accurately and promptly.
- Raise payments to suppliers in a timely manner, adhering to payment terms and schedules.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in invoices, both internally and externally.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve queries and issues.
- Assist with month-end procedures and reporting as required.
- Maintain organised and up-to-date records of financial transactions.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a similar purchase ledger or accounts payable role.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Reliable, dedicated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

**Salary**: Display is the annual full time salary, this will be pro rata depending on the hours worked.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 9 months

**Salary**: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
