You will work with the Head of Development to support the overall fundraising strategy including prospecting, fundraising to audiences, researching grants and developing campaigns.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**
- To work closely with the Head of Development to manage the MAC';s existing supporter schemes, running an efficient system to record correspondence with both existing and prospective members.
- Responsible for stewarding relationships with individual members including arranging meetings and organising supporter events throughout the year.
- Responsible for the smooth running of the Supporters'; Circle membership. Managing the administration of the scheme including Direct Debit processing and working closely with the Box Office team.
- Ensure all fundraising information is logged on the Spektrix database and monitor and manage all live campaigns.
- Support the Head of Development to develop bids and pitches to get support for a wide range of MAC projects and activities including creative learning, sustainability, digital, access and capital.
- Create opportunities for sponsors and funders to engage with outreach, accessibility and learning projects (through digital recordings or in-person).
- Work creatively and collaboratively with other members of the MAC team, specifically our Outreach, Learning and Community Project Managers, to identify and update on funding projects.
- Take responsibility for certain areas of public and corporate funding where required.
- Assist in planning and producing fundraising materials by working closely with designers, printers, and other involved parties.
- Work with the Finance department to ensure the appropriate allocation and coding of fundraising income.
- **Communications & Marketing**_
- Keep up-to-date with developments in fundraising in the charity and arts sector.
- Take a leading role in promoting Individual Giving Opportunities to visitors and audiences in collaboration with the Marketing and Communications team.
- Manage communications for all donors and supporters.
- Ensure all records of donors are up to date and comply with data protection regulation.
- Support the marketing team with funding success stories.
- Development Officer Essential Requirements:

- First-class written and verbal communication skills.
- Good numeracy, budgeting and analytical skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of fundraising.
- Demonstrable ability to communicate with people from all backgrounds at an individual level and in group situations, including excellent networking skills.
- Experience in administration and event planning.
- IT confident and literate with Microsoft Office/Teams knowledge.
- Development Officer Desirable Requirements:

- Experience in a Fundraising, Advocacy or Communications/Marketing environment.
- Track record in fundraising and stewardship.
- Experience of ';Making an Ask';.
- Experience of raising money at events.
- Experience of using a database.
- Experience of working in/ interest in the arts.
