We are recruiting a Prevention and Development Officer to work with us at PAPYRUS, a charity dedicated to preventing young suicide. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for engaging local communities, volunteers, and key partners across the region to create suicide safer communities.

Your role will involve equipping a wide range of stakeholders to enable them to create sustainable suicide safer communities through the provision of tailored support, training, and education. You will deliver training and raise awareness of products to a variety of groups, including professionals, parents, young people, volunteers, and other trainers.

To be successful in this role, you will have experience of using your own initiative and creativity to develop projects and programs, as well as experience of traveling to different locations across the region to attend meetings, events, and deliver training. You will also have a degree or professional qualification in Education, Counselling, Training, Psychology, Community Development, or Youth Work.

This is a permanent position with a salary of approximately £31,411 per annum (based on a 36-hour week) and benefits including 28 days' annual leave, hybrid and flexible working arrangements, an attractive pension scheme, and enhanced sick pay.
