**The role**

The ER Specialist/ ER Advisor will be responsible for providing an outstanding customer focused HR service to a variety of stakeholders in a fast paced, friendly, and supportive manner. The role will focus on providing consistent, comprehensive, pragmatic HR advice and support to leaders in accordance with best practice, organisational policies and employment legislation.

As an ER Specialist/ ER Advisor, you will play a vital role in supporting the Business Partnering Team with the delivery of organisational and operational projects. You will be responsible for working with business leaders on ER matters where you will advocate an early intervention approach including using mediation and coaching skills to work with
- leaders and colleagues to avoid the need for formal processes. In addition, you will support delivery of specific People Strategy initiatives and projects and provide ongoing training and coaching to leaders.

**The person**

To be successful in the role you will have demonstrable experience of undertaking Human Resources advisory work and managing multiple cases, including disciplinary, grievance, conduct, absence/welfare and other similar policy processes. You will have in-depth knowledge of legislation, including Human Resource management and Employment Law. You will have experience working cross-functionally, initiating conversations with stakeholders by using a proactive approach, whilst delivering high quality outcomes in a timely manner. Previous experience of working within Financial Services as well as having or working towards a CIPD qualification would be an advantage, but is not essential.
