**ER Advisor**

Hawksmoor’s People Team is growing We are very excited to start the search for an Employee Relations expert to join the team and support in ensuring we are world class employers.

This role will be crucial in delivering fair, consistent, and inclusive processes and outcomes through every stage of the employee life cycle.

You’ll be an expert in your field, with a comprehensive awareness of UK Employment Law, and will work closely with the Head of HR to maintain our people promises.

**Snapshot of responsibilities**:

- Building trusted relationships and coaching managers to develop their ER knowledge and skillset, enabling them to manage their teams effectively, in line with our values and employee promises and deal with issues or concerns informally wherever possible
- Supporting line managers with formal ER processes (e.g. probation management, absence, conduct and performance disciplinaries, grievances etc.) where needed, independently and end to end, escalating to the Head of HR where needed.
- Supporting the Head of HR with mental health and disability related cases, providing suitable support and reasonable adjustments as necessary.
- Regularly reporting on ER data and using this data and insight and working with the Head of HR to create an annual plan of activity that addresses any risks or trends.
- Owning all ER related processes and template documents, reviewing and updating as necessary when there are legislative changes or for continuous improvement purposes
- Keeping up to date with relevant legislative changes and current best practice ensuring our processes and policies are reflective

**About you**
- Excellent knowledge of employment law, ACAS guidelines and current best practice thinking
- Proven track record of managing and advising on complex ER cases end to end
- Experience of coaching and supporting others to run ER processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communications
- Ideally experienced within the hospitality sector
- Ideally Level 5 CIPD qualified or an intention to complete the diploma
