The role will predominantly provide secretarial, administrative and reception support to the Adult Clinical Health Psychology team, with cover arrangements to support the Paediatric Clinical Health Psychology team. The role will also involve close working relationships with Clinical Support Care Group to assure Trust standards of practice for administrative and performance reports. You will need to be totally committed to providing a high-quality administrative service.

To provide secretarial and administrative support to Clinical Health Psychology Service using a range of secretarial procedures in accordance with the processes laid out in the Medical Secretaries Handbook to provide cover for colleagues as necessary.

**Communication**:
**Patient Confidentiality**:
Maintain absolute patient confidentiality at all times in accordance with Trust policy and the legal framework such as the Data Protection Act.

**Physical Skills**:
Utilise advanced keyboard skills to RSA Stage 3 and RSA Stage 3 Audio Typing or equivalent to produce clinical and routine correspondence to health professionals, patients and their carers.

**Information Technology/System Utilisation**:
Regularly utilise Trust Information Systems such as Maxims for the creation of correspondence, reports and other documents. Develop a thorough knowledge and understanding of the Patient Administration System (PAS) and Case note Management.

**Mandatory Training/Development Review**:
Attend corporate induction, participate and complete on-going mandatory training including attendance at mandatory training sessions as directed. Participate in the Performance Development Review process (appraisal) in line with National and Trust Policies.
