**The Role**
The Senior Business Support Executive’s main objective is to provide high level comprehensive support to the Managing Director of KCS Education to enable them to work more efficiently and effectively. The role holder will lead on multiple work activities for KCS Education delivering a very high standard of work. Managing a portfolio of monthly reports, meetings and documents whilst ensuring deadlines are met. Driven, motivated and highly organised, able to work at pace with an exceptional eye for detail and a key ability to effectively communicate.
The Senior Business Support Executive is accountable for delivering objectives and to contribute to the overall business strategy. The Senior Business Support Executive will demonstrate leadership skills and high levels of enthusiasm to deliver exceptional support and build a solid relationship with the Managing Director. They will be self-motivated with a flexible approach to ever changing workloads.
**Key Duties**
- Provide high level comprehensive support to the Managing Director of KCS Education as directed and to very tight timescales.
- Pro-active calendar management to ensure appropriate prioritisation of appointments and that attendance at meetings is managed effectively. Regular catch ups with the Managing Director to drive planning ahead.
- Manage and organise regular KCS Education Board meetings, Leadership Team meetings, Strategy days etc. Responsible for producing agenda’s, slide packs, minutes, record actions and ensure completion of assigned actions.
- Responsible for producing written documents including the monthly reports for KCS Education ensuring high levels of accuracy and quality and that the monthly deadline is achieved. Able to understand the current business position and translate this into reports, presentations and communications. Analytically minded with a keen eye for detail.
- Manage and coordinate company wide staff communication sessions including Huddles, Employee Briefings, MD Discussion Groups and sharing results of staff surveys etc.
- Manage and update a suite of key documents including Business Plans, structure charts, Gifts and Hospitality Register, Expenses forms etc.
- Lead and coordinate staff award schemes including the Employee of the Month Award, Kindness & Care Award, annual awards etc.
- Plan, organise and manage onsite and offsite events including venue booking, attendance, equipment and any refreshments or catering in line with budget.
- Lead on setting up processes and procedures for tasks and work activities. Actively involved in projects across the business that recognise inefficiencies, initiate change and add value. Resolving problems before they arise.
- Raise Purchase Orders and place orders for venues, equipment, services and subscriptions in accordance with the CSG Signing Authority Matrix. Set up suppliers and obtain quotations requested by the Managing Director. Lead holder of the company credit card.
**What we need from you**

- Exceptional eye for detail.
- Ability to produce a very high standard of written work. Analytical with the ability to provide insight and challenge.
- Very strong and effective communicator (verbal and written) with influencing skills that can effectively and persuasively build relationships and deal with a variety of people in multiple teams and to successfully manage expectations.
- Excellent ICT skills; adept in all MS Office systems and able to navigate systems very well.
- Ability to deal with highly sensitive and confidential information and data appropriately.
- Proven experience of working for and supporting a Managing Director (or equivalent). Experience of working in a demanding role with a high-level workload.
- Exceptional communicator (verbal and written) with an excellent track record in building effective relationships. Experience of creating presentations and written correspondence for a Managing Director.
- Experience in coordinating multiple activities within a busy environment and to tight timescales.
- Excellent ICT skills in all MS Office systems.
