**About The Role**
**Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate closely with the Compliance Manager to facilitate the efficient onboarding of new customers while adhering to established regulatory guidelines and company policies.
- Assist in the completion of pre-qualification questionnaires and documentation required for customer engagement, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Conduct thorough due diligence checks on new customers to verify their eligibility and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all customer onboarding and compliance-related documentation.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal and external enquiries related to onboarding and compliance matters.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of streamlined onboarding processes that enhance efficiency and minimise risk.
- Collaborate with various teams, including legal, sales, and operations, to gather necessary information and ensure alignment in onboarding procedures.
- Assist in internal compliance audits, assessments, and reporting activities as required.
- Participate in training initiatives to educate colleagues on compliance protocols and procedures.
**Qualifications**:
- Prior experience in compliance, onboarding, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact confidently and professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using software and tools for data management and documentation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to identify issues and propose solutions.
**Reporting**:This role will report directly to the Compliance Manager, providing regular updates on onboarding and compliance-related activities and assisting in the efficient operation of the compliance department.
