- Reporting to the Technical Director you will work as an integral park of our commercial team to carry out electrical estimating working to NICEIC standards for our electrical contracting division.

**Job Requirements/Description**

**Location**: Burnley Based

**Salary**: Negotiable dependant on experience

**More specifically**:

- Preparing detailed and accurate electrical estimates for various projects.
- Carry our analysis of project plans, specifications and documentation to calculate time, cost, materials and labour estimates.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers and colleagues to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve any issues.
- Review and evaluate cost estimates.
- Create and maintain an approved list of suppliers, contractors and subcontractors.
- Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors.
- Attend site visits and pre-tender meetings to gather essential information.
- Ensure all tenders are submitted accurately and on time.
- Work with contract and quality managers to handover won tenders and provide continued support throughout the project.

**What you'll need?**

To be successful in the role, we are looking for the following qualifications and work behaviours:

- Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator
- Exception knowledge of electrical systems and components.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret plans and blueprints, schematics and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Full UK driving licence

Pay: Up to £60,000.00 per year
