Our team in Rotherham are recruiting for a Community Engagement Coordinator, to join them in providing high quality recovery care to a diverse service user group. Our Community Engagement Coordinators (CECs) are responsible for promoting With You Community Engagement Projects involving Project Volunteers, Recovery Champions, Peer Mentors and the wider community. This is an integral role for With You - as a CEC, you will be responsible for the recruitment, induction, training, placement and coordination of supervision arrangements for the above individuals and will ensure alignment with our internal and external stakeholders. As part of this role, you will:

- Ensure appropriate advertising and other publicity to promote the volunteer schemes, developing and maintaining links with a network of local partner agencies to support the scheme
- Support the Service/Contracts Manager to lead partnerships/projects within the local community
- Support development of organisational skills and knowledge based training packages, suitable for local use for Community Engagement

You will be a compassionate and motivated individual, with an exceptional ability to build meaningful relationships. You should hold a Volunteer Management Qualification or have a commitment to complete this within 18 months. We’re looking for demonstrable experience working within the health, social care, criminal justice or other specialist setting, as well as experience of managing and developing others. It’s important that you have experience of planning and delivery training programmes too.

You will be highly organised, with excellent communication skills and able to manage your time effectively, working as part of a team to ensure a high quality service is maintained. A driving licence is desirable, but not essential, for this role. Above all, we are looking for someone who is passionate about what we do, with a positive and engaging approach to our service users and key stakeholders.
