An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced administrator to join the Patient Safety and Team at Hull university Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

The role will provide essential administrative support to the Patient Safety Teams and will support the administrative duties within the wider Quality Governance Team.

The Trust is looking for a diligent, proactive, experienced administrator with excellent communication and organisational skills and a keen attention to detail.

The post holder will provide comprehensive and high-quality administration and co-ordination support to the Patient Safety Team and will provide an effective administration to the patient safety incident investigation process in line with the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF) and will use a range of non-routine work procedures and practices to manage and maintain the systems used, including DATIX.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate, motivated and caring individual to join our team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, you must be committed to supporting high standards of patient safety. You will have a flexible attitude to work and be able to work as part of a team.

The post holder will be joining is team which is passionate about patient safety and will be responsible for implementing and maintaining administrative processes to support the Patient Safety Team and other members of the Quality Assurance Directorate as required.

**HUTH has two main sites**: Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital with an annual budget of approximately £500 million. The Trust employs around 11,000 staff and serves an extended population of 1.25 million, delivering a number of outpatient services from locations across the area.

The Trust’s secondary care service portfolio is comprehensive, covering the major medical and surgical specialties, routine and specialist diagnostic services and other clinical support services. These services are provided primarily to a catchment population of approximately 600,000 in the Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire area.

HUTH provides specialist and tertiary services to a population of 1.25 million extending from Scarborough in North Yorkshire to Grimsby and Scunthorpe in North East and North Lincolnshire respectively.
