**About Our Client**:
Our client is an internationally renowned organisation in the transport and distribution industry. With a workforce of over 10,000 employees, this company maintains a strong presence in Runcorn, offering a vibrant and thriving work environment.
- Manage and process payroll documentation for employees.
- Ensure accurate and timely payments and deductions.
- Coordinate with HR to verify employment data and benefits.
- Maintain and update payroll records.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee queries.
- Prepare reports for upper management, finance department etc.
- Adhere to current payroll tax requirements and relevant laws associated with the processing of employee wage data.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
**The Successful Applicant**:
A successful Payroll Administrator should have:
- A degree in accounting, finance or relevant field.
- Proficiency in MS Office and good knowledge of relevant software (e.g. Kronos, SAP).
- Understanding of legislation and regulations of the field.
- Strong mathematical and numerical skills.
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication abilities with aptitude in problem-solving.
