Payroll Supervisor
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a busy growing team. They are looking for a Payroll Supervisor to join the team based near to Warrington but moving to Runcorn.

You will join a high volume fast-paced payroll team and will be responsible for providing a payroll service across a number of businesses in the group, made up of a diverse range of companies.
This role would suit a payroll supervisor looking for a new challenge, or an experienced payroll officer/administrator looking to take the next step in their career.
Duties Include:

- Reporting into the payroll manager, you will work in a team of 3, in a shared service centre, processing circa 35 payrolls across 20 companies. This consists of Weekly, Bi-weekly, Four-Weekly and Monthly, on Sage 50 payroll, end to end and producing morethan 3000 payslips per month as a team.
- Collating, checking, and manipulating payroll data from each of the businesses.
- Act as the first point of call for more in-depth PAYE payroll queries.
- Assist with processing hires, terminations, status changes, pay rate changes and other employee data updates.
- Year end reporting, RTI Submissions, dealing with HMRC.
- Ensuring payroll hits day-to-day deadlines.
- Training junior team members.
- Other payroll related duties.
Person Specification
- Demonstrable experience in processing payroll from start to finish.
- Enthusiastic, pro-active & capable of working with minimum supervision.
- Advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Maths and English GCSE Grade C or above or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Organised and efficient.
- UK Driving Licence.
