Job Outline The Postholder will provide a range of evidence-based psychological interventions within the framework of the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) Programme as part of Impacts Primary Care Psychological Wellbeing Therapies Team serving GP Practices across the NHS Tees area. They will assist in coordinating the delivery of timely and effective Low Intensity interventions in collaboration with the PWP Leads and Locality Managers. They will provide guidance and support to staff in the Duty Team. They will provide line management and clinical supervision to qualified and trainee PWPs.

This position may require flexible hours between 8am until 8pm weekdays. Main Duties and Responsibilities 1. To assist in coordinating and supporting delivery of Low Intensity Interventions across Teesside To monitor waiting lists for LI interventions and to liaise with Locality Managers and others to ensure timely transitions from referral to LI treatment. To provide support and guidance to staff within the Duty Team To support the PWP Leads in training, mentoring and developing CPD for trainee and qualified PWPs, including liaison with universities and support with the PWP Registration process.

To manage trainee and qualified PWPs To provide LI case management and clinical supervision to individuals and groups To liaise with Senior PWP staff in wider IAPT regional and national networks to ensure consistency of best practice. 2. To work as a member of the Impact on Teesside Team To create and maintain effective working relationships within the Impact on Teesside team and elsewhere. To offer advice and support to other members of wider Primary Care services, including GPs and other Health Professionals, on mental health issues, and in relation to appropriate referral pathways for patients with mental health needs.

To liaise effectively with Secondary Care and voluntary sector organisations and services To attend meetings and provide reports as required. To assist in the development and promotion of the service 3. To provide a range of therapeutic interventions To provide assessment, including risk assessment, of clients referred for psychological therapy within the Impact on Teesside service. To select and deliver a range of appropriate low-intensity CBT therapeutic interventions in collaboration with the client, including SilverCloud, psychoeducational groups and one-to-one support, to be delivered over the telephone, face-to-face or digitally.

To work within time-limited treatment plans To make appropriate onward referrals following assessment for clients requiring other services, including statutory and voluntary agencies To maintain clients confidentiality within agreed guidelines 4. To provide a professional and ethical service To maintain appropriate records, including all required assessment and evaluation tools To undertake relevant Continuing Professional Development activities both as required for the purposes of continued professional registration and as identified through Professional Development and Appraisal Systems To undertake an appropriate amount of clinical supervision from a qualified Clinical Supervisor within Impact on Teessides Supervision Programme To operate within agreed NHS, Impact on Teesside and professional guidelines and Codes of Practice To ensure a safe and secure working environment for self and others and to act as necessary within Health and Safety and other guidelines. To adhere to all Impact on Teesside Policies, Procedures and Guidelines. To promote and value the rights, responsibilities and diversity of people using the Service.
