A leading Value-Added Distributor of Enterprise and Data Centre IT Infrastructure, Hardware, Software & Services is seeking a Technical Sales Manager for its new Optical & Open Networking Division as well as supporting our Datacentre Infrastructure NetworkingVendors.
3-5 years’ experience in Optical Telecom products (Transceivers, Cabling, MUX-DEMUX)
Knowledge & Experience around the Open Networking Market & Technologies
Establishing Technical needs for customers and consulting on solution delivery and product/service alignment
Managing forecasts and keeping customers informed of new technological products
Experience in distribution, setting up and managing resellers
Ensuring sales targets are consistently met
Proactiveness in new customer outreach and onboarding, as well as generating marketing/sales data for CRM
Knowledge of Computer Networking and Service Provider Sales is a necessary asset
Experience of selling to Telco’s, ISPs, MSPs & CSPs highly desirable
Engineering or Technical Certification, CCNA or similar

**Salary**: £40K Base, £100K+ OTE
