**Function**:** Main purpose of job**
- To support the Customs Manager and Specialists in ensuring that all processes are correctly adhered to in order to deliver the highest level of customer service and client satisfaction
- To update company records, ensuring that all customs related documents are stored accurately and in compliance with company regulations
**Key tasks**
- To act as direct point of contact for clients, ensuring that all operational, Customs requirements and enquiries are responded to on time and concluded accurately and courteously
- KPIs reporting and management:
- Prepare KPI reports and present to clients as required
- Maintain systems with accurate and real-time data
- Complete regular audits on the Customs activity to ensure adherence with HM Customs procedures/ client instructionsEnsure total accuracy of all information and high standards of operational service are met
- Complete Customs clearance as per customer instructions and adhering to HMRC Regulations (to commence)
Complete Transit procedures in line with Customer instructions and adhering to HMRC Regulations
**Profile**:** Key skills**:
- Customs clearance skills and experience (essential)
- Knowledge of Customs Procedures & Regulations and Freight Forwarding (essential)
- Excellent Customer
Service skills Knowledge of Clearance software is a bonus, knowledge of Sage 200 is a bonus
- Strong numeracy & literacy with good attention to details
- Proactive approach with ability to prioritise and manage the workload
- Knowledge of Incoterms and HMRC
- Highly organised with ability to work under pressure and to deadline
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- WMS systems understanding would be beneficial PKMS, Red Prairie
