**EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW**

You will be part of a team that is responsible for operating assets at Tittesworth Water Treatment Works and potentially other major works in the STW region, including Raw Water Sources, Raw Water Storage Reservoirs, through plant processes and Distribution Service Reservoirs. As part of the role you will be adjusting treatment processes to match customer demands, water quality changes and communicate with various stakeholders.

Your role will be to produce drinking water to high quality standards for our customers, in the most cost efficient and safe manner. You’ll complete on site testing to provide assurance of online instruments and validate processes and proactively review water quality trends and asset performance and take action to prevent failure.

The role will include annualised hours shift team working a 24/7/365 shift rota which consist of a mixture of mixture of morning, day and night shifts (12 hour shifts). The role will include working alongside a dedicated maintenance team and Team Manager. There will be occasions whereby you will work alone and complete a handover for the next shift team. The shift rota gives great work/life balance, and you will be rewarded with ample rest days and an annualised shift allowance in addition to your salary.

There will be a requirement to participate in a 24/7 Stand-by Rota.

Some of your other key accountabilities will include:
As a Shift Operator, you’ll be following water treatment processes and have a commitment to health and safety. Whilst you will be working as part of a team of 8 shift operators, you will be using various IT systems including MS packages, SCADA & PRISM to monitor and control the water treatment processes. As well as maintaining equipment you will be carrying out water quality analysis to ensure high standards are met.

**WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE**

Having experience in working shifts would be advantageous and commitment to health and safety. A full UK driving licence will be required for the role.
