**Public Liaison Officer**

**About the Role**: Wills Bros Civil Engineering Ltd is seeking a dynamic Public Liaison Officer to join our team covering our projects in Cheltenham & Gloucester. This is a full-time role based on site Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (there can be a degree of flexibility with the start / finish times). Immediate starts available.

- **Driver's License**: Must possess a valid driver's license.

**Core Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with site management to implement plans and address challenges.
- Monitor and report on community benefit Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Prepare monthly reports for management and clients.
- Engage the supply chain to promote community benefits and employment plans.
- Fulfil stakeholder engagement and public liaison duties.
- Advocate for corporate social responsibility and charitable activities.
- Draft communication and engagement plans, newsletters, and notification letters.
- Serve as the main contact for project inquiries, ensuring timely resolutions.
- Keep stakeholders informed about project progress and maintain high customer care standards.
- Coordinate and attend events such as meet-the-contractor sessions, careers fairs, and school events.
- Provide administrative support to the site team.

**Best Practices within the Company**:

- Identify and share best practices and innovative approaches for community benefit delivery.
- Advise project management teams on best practices to achieve targets.
- Collaborate to achieve a Certificate of Excellence from the Considerate Constructors Scheme.
- Promote value for money in achieving goals and targets.
- Build strong relationships with social enterprises, charities, and employment schemes.

**Liaising with Third Parties**:

- Engage with local authorities and client communication managers on community engagement.
- Develop partnerships with local communities, councils, educational providers, businesses, and community groups.
