We are seeking an experienced and strategic
**Head of Compliance**, EMEA to lead our compliance efforts across this region.
**Votre environnement**
As a vital member of our global compliance team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing compliance strategies, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and fostering a culture of ethics and integrity throughout the organization.
**The Head of Compliance** EMEA will report to the Legal and Compliance Director and will support the Group’s compliance strategy.
**Vos missions**
- Leading the development, implementation, and management of the company's compliance and risk management program within the EMEA region, in alignment with the Group’s compliance model and standards.
- Staying abreast of changes to UK/EU law relating to compliance and ensuring that the company's activities and operations remain compliant with relevant laws, regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
- Implementing compliance during business change.
- Ensuring all policies, procedures and contractual terms are compliant with applicable law including regularly monitoring, updating, and improving.
- Overseeing compliance training programs tailored to regional needs, enhancing employees' understanding of compliance policies and ethical considerations.
- Collaborating with regional leadership teams to assess compliance risks, conduct risk assessments, and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Monitoring and reporting of compliance activities, including the preparation of regular reports for senior management and global compliance leadership.
- Leading investigations into potential compliance violations, working with legal, HR, internal audit, and relevant departments to resolve issues and implement remediation.
- Building strong relationships with external stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and industry groups to stay informed about best practices and regulatory developments.
- Advising on risks and impact of business change and implementing compliance obligations where needed.
- Driving a culture of compliance, ethics, and integrity across all levels of the organization through effective communication, training, and awareness initiatives.
- Managing and develop a team of compliance professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and fostering professional growth.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Finance, HR, Internal Audit, and Operations, to ensure compliance considerations are integrated into business processes.
- Adopt a collaborative approach across legal compliance contract management, driving strategic direction from market and customer requirements, recognising that we have to balance compliance and market requirements and competitiveness such that we have a value approach.
- An absolute obligation to maintain compliance according to laws and regulations but a risk, values and competition-based approach to ensure we do this efficiently and effectively.
- Assisting in managing relationships with external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities and industry associations.
**Votre profil**
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university. Equivalent combination of education qualification or experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience within a corporate compliance department.
- Minimum of 7 years of compliance leadership roles, including managing a team.
- Experience in the technology industry.
- Extensive knowledge of EMEA regulatory frameworks, laws, and regulations pertinent to the technology sector and key compliance areas.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing effective compliance programs, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to shape the strategic direction of Computacenter’s reputation management, including horizon scanning and identifying internal risks.
- Experience of working with and influencing colleagues at all levels including Executive and Board level
- Strong analytical skills to assess and address compliance risks and issues.
- An understanding of one or more of these compliance areas that are in scope: ethics, anti-bribery and corruption, data protection, trade compliance, speak up/whistleblowing, modern slavery/third party due diligence, competition law, health and safety, compulsory insurance, and environmental law.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to tactfully articulate risk and mitigating strategies to stakeholders at all levels, including senior management and external parties.
- An ability to manage third party advisors to time and cost.
- Ability to lead a team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
