About the Role

The Semi Skilled Handy Person will be responsible for the reliable and compliant operation of the site-wide Building and Utility Services and equipment serving all areas of the European Knowledge Centre (EKC) facility at Hatfield.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the maintenance, repair, and improvement of building fabrics to uphold regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure the integrity, safety, and functionality of the site's infrastructure, including office environments, laboratories, and GMP production lines.
  • Diagnose and repair building fabric issues.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written English skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in building maintenance or facilities management, preferably in a pharmaceutical or similar regulated industry.
  • Relevant vocational qualifications in building maintenance, engineering, or related field.
