SCIB UK Compliance is a second line of defence function responsible for providing oversight and support in the management of conduct and regulatory risks. Compliance is responsible for monitoring whether controls in the first line of defence are operating effectively.

**The difference you’ll make.**
- Directing the private side team in executing their role, providing constant guidance and support.
- Identifying risks and driving change,
- Contributing to SCIB strategic global initiatives,
- Drafting and reviewing policies resulting from regulatory developments.
- Identifying weaknesses and emerging risks and developing new policies resulting from developments in the Private side business
- Assisting with the drafting and delivery of all Annual Compliance Refresher training along with ad hoc training required following any changes in regulation.
- Providing accurate and timely reporting to the Regional Head of Compliance Advisory and the Chief Compliance Officer, as directed.

**What you’ll bring.**
- Experience working in a similar role within a Compliance Advisory function.
- Working knowledge of regulations in scope for a global markets business for example FCA Handbook, EMIR, MIFIR, Dodd Frank and Volcker.

**It would also be nice for you to have.**
- CISI Compliance Certificate of Diploma (or equivalent).
- Demonstrates the ability to resolve conflict, deal with confrontation, and remain calm under pressure.
- Highly developed written & oral communication skills

**What else you need to know.**

The position will be on a 14-month FTC, working Full time from Triton Square London with some flexibility for home working.
