**Human Resource Receptionist - N18 1QX**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 2 Human Resource Receptionist, to join our team at North Middlesex University Hospital located on Sterling Way, N18 1QX.

North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust is a medium sized District General Hospital based in Edmonton in Enfield, North London. We serve a diverse multicultural population largely from the London boroughs of Enfield and Haringey. Many of our patients live in wards within the 5% most deprived in the UK and a large population of our patients were born abroad. This makes it both a fascinating and a challenging hospital to work in.

**Job Summary**

**Requirements**:

- Good knowledge of IT Microsoft Packages such as Outlook, Word Excel and other relevant programmes
- Organisational and prioritisation experience
- Willingness to learn and committed to studies to achieve qualifications
- Ability to develop effective working relationships across the organisation
- Maintain a professional approach: Smart and presentable
- Ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with others from a variety of backgrounds, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail
- Team member with a flexible approach to work, willing to adapt to changing situations

**Responsibilities**
- To work as part of a team alongside other clerical staff within the department and to be part of a wider multidisciplinary team delivering a high-quality service to other staff and patients
- Undertake office management duties such as maintaining stock levels of required consumable and raising orders to manage as required
- Assisting in the planning, preparation and execution of all internal HR/OD events including but not limited to Recruitment Fairs, Internal Open Days, Staff Awards and other on-going events within the Human Resources and Organisational Development umbrella
- To ensure that confidentiality is strictly adhered in line with legislation and Trust policies and procedures
- Retrieve and process mail, incoming and outgoing telephone calls in accordance with Trust Policies
- To report any service or performance shortfalls to the Management team and work as part of the team in order to address and resolve any issues
