**Tenure - Permanent, Part-Time, Flexible, Part-Remote**

The Fire Station is a new state-of-the-art entertainment and hospitality venue in the heart of Sunderland’s rapidly developing cultural quarter.

Our Auditorium, designed for live music, theatre and dance has dual capacities of 550 seated or 800 standing. We seek to attract more than 80,000 customers over the coming year to enjoy our carefully curated programme of more than 200 performances, across all genres from Rock and Indi, Club Nights and Electronic to Classical Performances, Comedy and Spoken Word.

In addition to our main stage, The Parade Ground, a 600-capacity outdoor performance space with an external integrated stage and outdoor bar has recently been completed and will play host to a series of festival style public-ticketed and private-corporate events next summer.

**Hospitality**

Whilst music takes center stage at The Fire Station, hospitality is at the heart of all that we do. The Fire Station Foyer Bar provides pre
- and post-performance hospitality to gig goers by night, whilst hosting our corporate and conference clients by day. In our adjoining building sitting inside the lovingly restored Old Fire Station, the Engine Room is the perfect place to enjoy a meal before visiting the theatre, mark a special occasion or simply meet with friends for a fun night in the city.

Elsewhere, The Dun Cow our wonderfully ornate, grade 2 listed ‘Edwardian Gin Palace’ is the Fire Station's next-door neighbour and is a perfect example of everything that a traditional British public house should be. Finally, in Newcastle nestled in the heart of its famous Quayside, located midway between the Tyne and Millennium bridges with beautiful views of the river and Sage Gateshead, sits Chart House.

**Overview**:
The Sales and Marketing Director role is pivotal as Pub Culture has recently expanded its operations to take on directly the management of The Fire Station Auditorium having been a partner in the development since 2017. The primary objective for the Sales and Marketing Director is to elevate The Fire Station as a premier destination venue, promoting a cohesive, venue-wide experience for both public and corporate events. The role involves driving ticket sales, increasing revenue, and nurturing the audience base. Additionally, this position will oversee marketing for Pub Culture's other venues, The Dun Cow Public House and Chart House Bar and Restaurant, requiring the development of a comprehensive year-round marketing strategy.

**Management**

The Sales and Marketing Director will oversee, manage and coordinate the marketing efforts of our sales team which includes our full-time Marketing Coordinator and CRM and Ticket Office Manager. In addition, the Sales and Marketing Director will manage relationships and direct the work of our third-party marketing and communications suppliers for Social Media, PR & Communications and Website Design and Tech.

**Job Types**: Permanent, Part-time
Part-time hours: 15 - 22.5 per week

**Salary**: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
