**About the Role**:
We are now seeking a Commercial Assistant to join our team; now in its eleventh year providing a stable and profitable Contract, delivering excellent service and support through our local teams, who understand the importance of working together for the local community.

As a Commercial Assistant you will work with an established commercial team that price, value, and invoice for works using schedules of rates and other pricing mechanisms. The works include Responsive Repairs, Empty Property Repairs, Planned Works & Capital Works, Fire Damage Works & Structural Works, Aids & Adaptations and Estate Caretaking. You will also be responsible for assisting with subcontractor payments in accordance with our standard operating procedures, running reports from our in-house management system and day-to-day commercial administration.

**Role Criteria**:

- Previous experience in a commercial or construction role.
- Good numerical and written skills (minimum of GCSE Grade C for Maths and English).
- IT literate.
- Skilled working with Microsoft Excel.
- Basic understanding of pricing construction work.
