**The Opportunity;**
We have a fantastic opportunity for a HR Assistant to join a growing team with a great not for profit client and fabulous team in the Northumberland area.
This is an interim role initially for 3 months and will support the business by:

- Managing the HR inbox, answering first line queries, and providing good customer service.
- Answering queries in areas such as reference requests, holiday entitlement and sickness.
- Completing standard processes such as reporting on: DBS checks, long service award and leavers.
- Supporting the other HR Assistant with recruitment.
- Working on the expenses system for compliance.
- Supporting payroll with the reward gateway for childcare vouchers/cycle to work and payroll deduction reports.
- Support managing the occupational health contract to ensure all staff receive the best possible service.

**The Person;**
The ideal person for this role will be immediately available and will have:

- Experience in a HR role or have managed HR processes/initiatives.
- Understanding of HR process/policy to support first line enquiries.
- Organised and able to diarise to prioritise time.
- Articulate.
- Positive, proactive and can provide good customer service.
