**About the role**:
We are currently looking for a HR Assistant to join one of the country’s leading housing providers on a **temporary basis **for 3 months with the potential to be extended in Ashington, Northumberland.

Hybrid working is available.

Part-time hours will be considered.

**The opportunity**:
This is a great opportunity to join an experienced team and contribute to the effective running of the People Services team by providing first class administrative and customer service support for all levels of the colleague life cycle.

**You will**:

- Manage the HR inbox (alongside another colleague)
- Process resignations on HR system including liaising with payroll for any payment for unused holidays
- Manage compliance of driver documentation for colleagues who use their own vehicles for work purposes
- Raise purchase orders and progressing invoices for payment
- Liaise with payroll for any monthly pay changes
- Keep HR systems up to date
- Own cyclical processes including:

- Workwear requests and placing orders with suppliers
- Long service awards
- Pension auto-enrolment
- DBS Monthly checks

This is fantastic opportunity to join a strong team of HR professionals doing a generalist role with the opportunity to support on HR projects.

The hourly rate will be between £12 - £14 per hour dependant on experience.
