**Transport Administrator**
Full Time - Permanent
An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a Transport Administrator Based at one of our sites in Welwyn Garden City - Bridge Road Site.
**Responsibilities will include**:
Perform various administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the office
Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
Assist with data entry and maintaining accurate records
Utilise computerised systems and software to complete tasks efficiently
Deal with driver queries when needed
Deal with customer queries when needed
Subcontracting loads (holiday cover)
Load planning (holiday cover)
Populating traffic sheet (holiday cover)
Greet and assist visitors, ensuring they feel welcome and attended to
**Skills**
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
Attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving abilities
Excellent customer service skills
Strong problem-solving abilities
Transport experience is essential
Geographical knowledge is essential
**Shifts Available**: Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week, with a 1 hour lunch break
shift: 08:00 to 17:00
**Immediate start**
Salary - £27,000 - £28,000 dependant on experience
