**The role**

Southern Housing have an exciting opportunity for a Visiting **2x Housing Officers** to join our Croydon Team. You’ll join the Neighbourhoods Team which consists of dynamic and diverse people. You’ll have the opportunity to provide a comprehensive housing management service, within defined policies and procedures and in accordance with agreed performance standards, ensuring a high-quality customer service is always provided. You will be given the flexibility of working from home as agreed with your manager.

**1x 12 month FTC**

**1x 6 month FTC**

**Location**

This role will be based in Croydon but will involved visiting 26 boroughs across London.

**What you'll have**
- Some understanding of issues around housing law, rights of tenants and landlords and laws relating to repairs would be desirable.
- You'll understand common building defects, and the solutions would be an advantage.
- Maintain accurate and timely records using office systems and databases such as CRM, ReAct etc. Prepare contracts, notices and legal papers as required. Schedule appointments, proactive campaigns and neighbourhood inspections as needed.
- The ability to develop partnership working with other agencies to generate effective solutions to problems.
- The ability to manage time & tasks effectively, work well under pressure both individually and in a team to deadlines, delegating appropriately.

**This role requires you to have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.**
